Hi, my name is Alison and I run Jo Jingles classes in the areas of Hamstreet, Ashford, Hawkhurst, Tenterden, Rye, Hastings & Bodiam and all the bits in between! I also go into nurseries & schools to run classes there.
Jo Jingles now has over 90 franchisees like me and around 20,000 children per week attending classes in over 500 venues so you can see we really live up to our claim to be "the leading provider of fun and educational music and movement classes". |
I’m thrilled to be expecting another baby in the Autumn and after very careful consideration I have decided it’s time to spend more time with my family.
However, I am pleased to introduce Libby Kinkade who will be taking over the local Jo Jingles. Read more about Libby below. |
About me
I am a trained Primary School teacher and have spent the last 10 years teaching children from Reception to Year Three. One of my major roles in school has been as the Music and Drama coordinator teaching recorders, Choir, Drama clubs and putting on shows and concerts. I sing with the 'Wealden Consort' and am a member of Cranbrook Operatic and Dramatic Society.
I have had so much fun with all my musical activities that I wanted to pass this on to my daughter. I did this by taking her to Jo Jingles classes from an early age-in fact I still do! As a working Mum I find this such a wonderful bonding activity for my daughter and myself which gives us quality time together. We have had so much fun that I decided to give up being a Primary School Teacher and buy a Jo Jingles franchise instead! I hope you will get the same amount of enjoyment and fun as we have both had. |
| Hello everyone,
My name is Libby and I am excited to be taking over the Ashford – Hastings Jo Jingles and will do my best to follow in Alison’s footsteps.
Music and dancing always were the main passions in my life until about 8 months ago when I gave birth to my beautiful baby daughter Isobel.
It is thanks to Isobel that I became involved with Jo Jingles in the first place attending Alison’s classes which Isobel loves. Since I was a tiny tot myself I have sung and danced my way through life so I know first hand how enriching it can be.
I studied for my degree at London College of Dance where I also qualified as a dance teacher and received professional training in music and musical theatre which I am hoping will stand me in good stead for the times ahead. Most recently I have been working full time for a dance company in London but when Isobel came along I knew I would have to find something that would enable me to spend more time with her at home. When I heard that Alison was looking to move on it seemed like the perfect opportunity and so now a few months later here I am.
I look forwards to meeting you all soon.....
